Event - 3rd Annual Lombardi Run to Daylight Hosted by - Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds and the House of Harley-Davidson Date - Friday and Saturday, July 18-19, 2008 Location - House of Harley-Davidson, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Purpose and proceeds - Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds is a thirty-eight year old volunteer organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds for cancer research, education, patient care and early detection at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Proceeds from the Lombardi Award of Excellence Dinner Ball, Lombardi Golf Classic, Lombardi Walk for Cancer, Lombardi Run to Daylight, Lombardi Food & Wine Experience, and the Blocks of Granite program bring the total raised by the Lombardi to over $11 million. Dinner with the Starrs - Held in the showroom at the House of Harley-Davidson on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., Dinner with the Starrs includes dinner, cash bar, live music, a bike show, auction and the opportunity to meet Bart and Cherry. Dinner with the Starrs donation program - Tickets are available for $100 each or Reserved/Corporate Tables of ten (10) are available for $1,000. Dinner with Starrs attire - Biker attire is encouraged. Lombardi Run to Daylight - Held on Saturday, July 19, 2008, the Lombardi Run to Daylight includes a two-hour scenic ride through the hills any byways of southeastern Wisconsin, breakfast and lunch, cash bar, live entertainment, raffle and auction. Lombardi Run to Daylight donation program - $40 per participant Lombardi Run to Daylight schedule of events - 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. - Registration and pancake breakfast at the House of Harley-Davidson. (There is a $5 charge for breakfast). 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Leaving from the House of Harley-Davidson, the route will travel through the hills and byways of southereastern Wisconsin. The ride will then return to the House. 12:30 - 4:00 p.m. - Live music by Fat Bottom Special, food, beverages, silent auction and raffle.
