General information

Event - 39th Annual Vince Lombardi Golf Classic

Date - Friday and Saturday, June 12-13, 2009

Location - North Hills Country Club; Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Purpose and proceeds - Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds is a 38-year old volunteer organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds for cancer research, education, patient care and early detection at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Proceeds from the Vince Lombardi Award of Excellence Dinner Ball, Vince Lombardi Golf Classic, Lombardi Walk for Cancer, Lombardi Run to Daylight, Lombardi Food & Wine Experience and the Blocks of Granite program bring the amount raised by the Lombardi to over $11 million.

Registration package -

One (1) Registration Gift Package per player;
Practice round of golf on Friday with exciting events and fun prizes;
Breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday;
Friday evening Golf Gala for players and spouses/guests (to include celebrity pairings, live and silent auctions, dinner buffets and entertainment);
Golf on Saturday with a celebrity from the sports or entertainment field; and
Cocktails, hors d'ouveres at the Awards Ceremony for players and a guest following golf play on Saturday.

Participation - The player donation is $2,100 per playing spot. Approximately 200 players, including 35 celebrities, participate in the Golf Classic.

Golf Gala - The Golf Gala is held under an elegant tent at North Hills Country Club on Friday, June 12 from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The Gala includes the celebrity pairings, live and silent auctions, dinner buffets and entertainment. Attire is country club casual.

Awards Ceremony - The Awards Ceremony takes place Saturday, June 13 on the eighteenth green immediately following golf. First, second and third place finishes are awarded.

Spectators - While the Golf Classic is a two-day event for participants, the course is only open for spectators on Saturday, June 13th. There is a $5 admission charge for spectators.
